The crossed out wheeled bin placed on the batteries is a reminder not to dispose of them with general waste at the end of their
life. Alkaline and NiMH batteries are classified as portable batteries and must be disposed of in accordance with local

Battery Indicator
The battery state indicates how much life remains in the battery; the more black bars are shown, the longer the life remaining.
Replace the battery when there are no bars showing.
