Chopping Up / Blending Food
1. Place the motor unit on a dry, even and fi rm surface. You may wish to place a non-slip
mat underneath the motor unit so that the surface is not damaged.
2. Pour the ingredients you want into the shaker of your choice.
3. As required, pick up the cross-blade or fl at-blade attachment,
make sure that the sealing ring is correctly in place (see the
"Use" chapter, "Checking the Fit of the Sealing Rings" sec-
tion), and screw the blade attachment onto the shaker.
4. Insert the blade attachment into the motor unit. Make sure that
the locking lugs on the shaker rest correctly in the recesses
of the motor unit.
5. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket
that is easily accessible.
6. To switch on the device, press the shaker down slightly and at
the same time turn it clockwise until it engages. Always keep
hold of the device with at least one hand while preparing food.
7. To switch off the device, turn the shaker anticlockwise again
until you feel some resistance. Always wait until the blades
have come to a complete standstill before you take off the
shaker.
8. Turn over the shaker and remove the mains plug from the
mains socke. Carefully unscrew the blade attachment. If you
want to use one of the lids supplied, screw it onto the shaker.
With the sports and keep-fresh lid, make sure that the
sealing ring is inserted correctly.
9. Clean the blade attachment immediately after use so that no food residues dry on.
Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
❐ Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning the device!
❐ Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
cable or plug do not fall into water or become wet.
❐ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
• Clean the accessories which have been used with clear, warm water and some mild
detergent. The accessories can also be cleaned in the dishwasher, but not the motor
unit (!).
• Only wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before assembling the device again and/or putting
it away for storage. Store the device in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
